Sunday, 21 February, 2010 - CLUB DAY OUT at Stedfast Park, PIHA, departing from Honeywell car park at 9.30am

Club Day Out is a whole day of fun for all the club members and their families.

Firstly, there will be a fabulous twisty ride out to Piha where we have booked the campgrounds of Stedfast Park, 64 Glen Esk Rd., Piha which has a super flat area for scooter antics such as ‘slow races’, egg and spoon races, scooter soccer and scooter gymkhana. We plan to arrive in the morning, have scooter games, BYO picnic lunch, explore nearby waterfall, scooter gymkhana in avo plus we will have an early evening BBQ provided for by the club.

The CLUB DAY OUT welcomes you and your family – it is a Family Friendly day – so make sure to invite everyone along who wants to come. There will be spare scooters to ride so if people don’t own a scooter they can have a chance to join in on the scooter game fun riding round on grass. There will be special activities for the kids too so make sure you bring the whole family and I guess grandma and grandad would love a ride in the sidecar too!

The BBQ is a free for all club members as this is one of the ways that the club gives back to its members by paying for the land hire and the food supplies but for non members that you bring along i.e other family members, it would be appreciated if you could give a gold coin donation for each person for the food etc as it will help the club to be able to continue to put these events on for you.
