A 100+ km ride of some favourite southern haunts and twisty climbs out the back and beyond of Papakura - scooters need to be able to maintain 80 km/hr speeds on country roads. Great roads to ride.
It's going to be a nice ride in the country. I will give ride route to anyone that wants to go ahead and push their scoot a bit.
Will stay off main roads and try out a few of my favourates.

I'm keen to try this one. I might drop below 80 on the uphills but I'll catch up on the downhills.

never mind, it IS winter I suppose...
Shame about the weather today but we will keep the Southern Twisty on our list of rides to do - southern routes are great for scooter rides - so look out for this ride again coming up in the next few months.
